It's Christmas Day!!! It's the perfect time to cozy up and lounge around. That's exactly what I did today. I'm 6 days into my Winter break and I am enjoying every single moment of it. Being on vacation gives me the time to sit back, enjoy life, and be normal. I am able to get in the kitchen and cook up a storm. Speaking of kitchen, Santa was very generous and brought me a new, red cookware set. Such a thoughtful and necessary gift from Mr. Hubby Santa :)
Last night we had a delicious dinner and spent time with family. I am so thankful for being able to spend time with loved ones. My parents and sisters were missing this Christmas, but I will soon see them for New Years. I cannot wait to see them all and have girly time with my sisters.
The holiday season stresses me out and bring me tons of happiness at the same time. I am always low on cash during this time but full of love. These have been some of my "just see the positive side" days. As long as I have my loved ones next to me, with a roof over my head, and food to eat, nothing else should matter.
With that being said, I spent the majority of my day in bed watching Peaky Blinders, enjoying the simple things in life. I just finished watching the entire first season!!! If you have nothing better to do, watch this show NOW!
